Lelo Aberle

Lelo Aberle is Salvadorean born of Italian and Belgian descent.

Lelo's artistic roots run deep, with her father Enrique Aberle being an exceptional oil and watercolour artist whose artwork is exhibited globally and her late brother, Ricardo Aberle, a renowned award-winning landscape watercolour artist who lived in Miami, Florida.

Lelo's art is a reflection of her deep connection to landscapes and nature, portraying her love for vibrant colors, distinct shapes, and the play of light and dark shades in the images she brings to life.

Recent exhibitions include "Feminidades" in collaboration with Izalco Art showcasing female Salvadorean artists in October 2023;  followed by "Collectiva de Arte Salvadoreno" in December 2023 through to February 2024.

This summer, her upcoming showcase will be in Greece, on the Island of Ithaca where she will display her work. Lelo is thrilled to exhibit in Ithaca, the home of Homer and Odysseus, as her paintings draw inspiration from the island's unique landscapes.

"I am in a happy place when I paint. Each and every piece of my work is a true reflection of myself as I see the world around me"
